Finding projects with social impact as a programmer can sometimes be difficult, especially when you want to contribute your technical skills to a project that goes beyond just the technical aspects. You want to be a part of something that makes a small but meaningful difference in this world.

Motivated by this challenge and inspired by my personal experience collaborating with university students from various corners of the globe, where we created technological solutions for an underprivileged school, I have developed a platform called MakerPunks. This platform aims to connect programmers with social impact projects, fostering opportunities for potential collaboration. Additionally, it provides organizations with a chance to discover technical talent for their initiatives.

My goal with this project is to build a community of makerpunks who collaborate and create impactful change in the world through their coding skills.
